Welcome

Dear Patients and Friends,

Starting in December, I will transition to a membership-based concierge practice, while our new PA, Laura Wisniewski, will take care of traditional network insurance patients.

What this means is that you won’t need to worry about finding a new provider elsewhere, no matter what option you choose. That’s good news for everyone.

You’ve no doubt experienced New York’s challenging healthcare marketplace. Getting prompt service when you need care, connecting directly with a human being when you call, or securing a convenient appointment is almost impossible. My concierge practice is the alternative, designed to delivering care that is supportive, convenient, and provided by a personal physician who knows you and your health history.

I’d be delighted if you would consider concierge membership. And if you decide to stay with traditional insurance, I know you’ll be impressed with Laura.

I’m also pleased to announce that for existing and prior patients who are concierge members, I will now accept Medicare (excluding Medicare Advantage) for your visits. In many cases, the membership fee can be funded through a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA). These accounts allow you to pay for membership costs with pre-tax dollars, which can offer significant savings. Please keep this in mind, as we are currently in the year-end open enrollment period for FSAs and HSAs for 2026.

Remember, after December 1st, I will no longer be seeing traditional patients.

If you wish to join the concierge program and have not yet enrolled, or if you have any questions regarding membership, please contact Concierge Choice Physicians at (877) 888-5590. There are still limited spots available, which will be confirmed on a first-come basis. For your convenience, a membership agreement form can be downloaded by clicking Concierge.

Whether you choose concierge with me, or remain in traditional healthcare with Laura, we’re happy to have you stay in the Lyon Primary Care family.

Warmly,
Valerie Lyon
