As most of you know, until now I’ve been reluctant to accept Medicare patients in my solo primary care practice— largely because there simply weren’t enough hours in the day for me to accommodate the government’s requirements with such a large patient population.
But now, as I make the transition to a concierge model on December first, I’ve come to realize that because we’re all counting the years together, and many of us nearing retirement and possible reduction in income, it’s the right thing to do to make this important benefit available to all of you who qualify for it.
So, I am pleased to open up my concierge practice to prior and existing patients who wish to enroll in Medicare (excluding Medicare Advantage).
If you’re approaching eligibility for Medicare, or already in the program, I’d be delighted to have you join our concierge membership as a Medicare patient, if you are a prior or current patient with us. Remember, after December 1st, I will no longer be seeing traditional patients, who will be treated by our new physician assistant, Laura Wiesniewski.
